ok im a noob but why are the colors off after i open it in inkscape/illustrator? Started today drawing vectors and wanted to look at yours ..~_~ It looks like pinkie is staying in the shadow on my pc ....
Hmm... that's very odd. I wouldn't want to use this as an example for creating vectors though. This is my first vector, and I certainly did not have as much experience as I did in my more recent vectors (although I did know what I was doing). I would suggest using those instead of this. If you still have the color problem, I'm sorry but I don't know what to do.
Wow that's incredible for a first time. To an untrained eye like mine, it looks perfect, but reading the other comments seems to tell me otherwise. Man, do I have to train that eye. Anywho, it's awesome.
The stroke width was a pain in some instances. I tried to fit the width of the original screenshot, which sometimes varied. To address the highlights, I stayed accurate to the frame as well, meaning there were none. [link] I used Inkscape. Thanks for your compliments!
For a first vector this looks great! Only mistakes I could find is that Pinkie is missing her eye higlights/accents/whatever-you-want-to-call-them - which shouldn't be too hard to fix if everything is layered as it should be - and that some of the lines look slightly woobly here and there which might be caused by having too many anchor points.
All in all this looks wonderful, you did a great job
