Pinkie's Scrunch is Present by PsychoanalyticBrony Pinkie's Scrunch is Present by PsychoanalyticBrony
This is my very first vector.

Oh, and you may notice there are no eye highlights.
This is because there are no highlights in the original frame.

ok im a noob but why are the colors off after i open it in inkscape/illustrator? Started today drawing vectors and wanted to look at yours ..~_~ It looks like pinkie is staying in the shadow on my pc ....

Hmm... that's very odd. I wouldn't want to use this as an example for creating vectors though.
This is my first vector, and I certainly did not have as much experience as I did in my more recent vectors (although I did know what I was doing).
I would suggest using those instead of this. If you still have the color problem, I'm sorry but I don't know what to do.

Any chance of splicing in Pinkie's legs and tail?
PsychoanalyticBrony Featured By Owner Aug 8, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Yes. Now that I have more experience involving prediction of the parts cut from the frame, I'm sure I could do that.

But I have many other things to do right now. I have a project that involves this vector. I'll probably do it when I get to the project.

Wow that's incredible for a first time. To an untrained eye like mine, it looks perfect, but reading the other comments seems to tell me otherwise. Man, do I have to train that eye. Anywho, it's awesome.

this really well done for a first :iconponyclapplz:

there are some minor inconsistencies in the stroke width but besides that( and the missing iris highlights *g) it looks good :D

btw. what program did you use to make this ? x)
PsychoanalyticBrony Featured By Owner Aug 1, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
The stroke width was a pain in some instances. I tried to fit the width of the original screenshot, which sometimes varied.
To address the highlights, I stayed accurate to the frame as well, meaning there were none. [link]
I used Inkscape.
Thanks for your compliments!

For a first vector this looks great! Only mistakes I could find is that Pinkie is missing her eye higlights/accents/whatever-you-want-to-call-them - which shouldn't be too hard to fix if everything is layered as it should be - and that some of the lines look slightly woobly here and there which might be caused by having too many anchor points.

All in all this looks wonderful, you did a great job ;P
